Both front-wheel drive and 4MOTION® all-wheel drive with Active Control are available. With either option, this powertrain is capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds.
If you’re more focused on fuel economy, you can opt for a 2.0L TSI® 4-cylinder engine instead. This turbocharged powertrain can get up to an EPA-estimated 20 city/26 highway MPG.

You’ll also be able to count on lots of driver-assistance features. These can help prevent accidents and give you more awareness. Some of the features you’ll find include a Blind Spot Monitor, Pedestrian Monitoring, and Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
A user-friendly infotainment system comes standard in the VW Atlas. VW Car-Net® App-Connect has lots of smartphone compatibility. You’ll be able to sync your phone and stream music, control your favorite apps, and safely make hands-free phone calls.
For even more variety in your drivetime playlist, SiriusXM® All Access radio is also available. For superior sound quality, you can also add a Fender® Premium Audio System.
